Cuervo is a nearly abandoned unincorporated ghost town in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. Located along Interstate 40, about 17 miles east-northeast of Santa Rosa.

Started between 1901 and 1903 as a railroad and water stop named after nearby Cuervo Hill.

Became a bustling stop for travelers in 1926 with hotels, schools, and a peak population of around 300 people in the 1930s and 1940s.

The construction of I-40 split the small town in two, bypassing local businesses and causing residents to leave.

The local post office held on until September 10, 2011, but the community had already become mostly skeletal ruins.
