Bodie est une ancienne ville minière et un parc historique d'État situé dans les collines de Bodie en Californie, près de la frontière du Nevada. Cette ville fantôme du XIXe siècle abrite de nombreux bâtiments d'origine dans différents états de délabrement, ainsi que des artefacts et le cimetière maçonnique. Seule une petite partie de la ville minière survit, préservée dans un état de « délabrement arrêté ». Les intérieurs restent tels qu'ils ont été laissés et approvisionnés en marchandises.
